The 5 Stages Of Grief...And Your Playlists To Power Through Them

Denial. Anger. Bargaining. Depression. Acceptance.

Such simple words with immeasurable meaning. Each stage on your journey comes with it's own set of obstacles, and when it feels like the challenges are insurmountable...that's where these playlists come in.

Each playlist is centered around music that helped me through each of the Five Stages. Most importantly, these playlists are 'collaborative' to allow YOU to add songs that helped you through a difficult time.

DENIAL

It can never happen to me...and then it does. Life has just flipped itself upside down. DENIAL isn't a bad thing. It allows you to process the information slowly and at your own pace. Let these songs ease you into the road to recovery.

ANGER

Find yourself saying "F$#@ this. I don't deserve this!" That's GOOD. ANGER is the result of coming to terms with what has happened. Find a HEALTHY outlet for it: Workout until you're too tired to be angry. DRUM *trust me it works

BARGAINING

The dust from the ANGER tornado has settled. Now, you just want life to be normal. You'll do ANYTHING to have everything the way it used to be. "If I do this...then maybe..." Be careful. These false hopes can halt your progress.

DEPRESSION

“It's always darkest before the dawn." The hardest thing to realize is that salvation is just on the other side of the mountain. Just keep climbing. Remember: YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Don't try to conquer it solo. Reach out. Fight. Hit the peak.

ACCEPTANCE

Congratulations. YOU MADE IT. You've come to accept life on your own terms. YOU ARE STRONGER for fighting through this. Bad days may come but now you are the one in control. Your journey is not over. Spread the love. Help others in need.

Keep Fighting The Good Fight.
